Caitlin is a South Wales-based interior designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, emotionally resonant spaces.

About the Studio

With a first-class degree in Interior Design & Styling from Arts University Plymouth, my work blends creativity with an understanding of how people experience and respond to their environment — drawing on principles of human psychology to design spaces that feel as good as they look.

I’ve worked across a range of residential and commercial projects, including concept designs and practical implementations from my previous studio role. Each one has helped shape a flexible, people-first approach that adapts to different needs, styles, and stories.

My aesthetic is playful yet considered — often defined by rich textures, purposeful colour palettes, and personal touches that bring individuality to every space. Travel and cultural influences are a big part of my inspiration, keeping my work fresh, grounded, and connected.

As a designer, I care about creating interiors that are not only beautiful, but meaningful spaces that support well-being, reflect personality, and evolve with the people who live and work in them.

And just so you know

Who You’re Working With…

  • Travel is one of my biggest influences - I’m always inspired by how beautifully other cultures care for their buildings and the thoughtful ways they live day-to-day. Copenhagen is my all-time favourite…The Danes just get design!

  • I love a good guitar solo, so I am a big fan of Dire Straits & Fleetwood Mac!

  • I’m a Scorpio with Taurus rising - creative, loyal and just the right amount of stubborn when it matters.

  • I’m naturally curious - I love good conversation, and somehow retain bizarre trivia (I’d be lost without Wikipedia).

  • Every year I pick a word to guide me - this year it’s joy.

  • Life’s thrown a few curveballs and I don’t always shout about them, but they’ve shaped how I show up. With empathy, humour, and a lot of heart.

  • The ocean resets me - Studying in Plymouth meant three years by the sea and it’s still where I feel most clear and grounded.

  • If I wasn’t a designer, I’d probably be acting or in politics, both let you connect with people and tell stories, just in different ways.

  • I’m inspired by bold, concept-led studios like Masquespacio and Soho House, with a soft spot for mid-century modern. I’m especially drawn to commercial projects that blend playful palettes with clever spatial storytelling.

I believe great design should feel personal, purposeful, and a little bit playful - just like life.

    Private Client

  • Caitlin is a joy to work with. She always puts her full effort into everything she does and ensures her work is of the highest quality. Her creativity and dedication were clear throughout our time together at university, she consistently strived to do her best in every project she completed.

FAQs

  • Absolutely. I work with clients remotely as well as in person. Many stages of the design process can be done digitally, with regular calls, visual updates, and shared documents.

  • It depends on the scope. Concept design and smaller projects usually take 2-3 weeks. However, we can agree a timeline together depending on your project.

  • Yes. I can provide detailed plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD, especially for spatial layouts and bespoke joinery.

  • Yes - I can work across both spatial and visual communication, and often connect the two to create more cohesive, thoughtful experiences.

  • Depending on the scope, you’ll receive a tailored package of final deliverables - this could include AutoCAD drawings, presentations, product sourcing lists, visual mockups or brand assets. All files are clearly organised and presentation-ready.

  • Each project includes one round of design revisions as standard, built into the proposal. Additional changes beyond that can be arranged for an extra fee. I keep the process collaborative and clear, so you feel involved — without it dragging on or becoming overwhelming.

  • Thoughtful, concept-driven, and slightly playful. I draw from mid-century influence and bold commercial ideas, but never follow trends for the sake of it. In branded spaces, I use identity as a guide to shape how a place looks, feels, and functions.
